LATAM Airlines Brazil and Emirates Airline have signed a new codeshare partnership that covers domestic services in Brazil.

As per the agreement, passengers flying with Emirates to and from Brazil will now have access to 17 cities in LATAM’s domestic network.

Similarly, passengers travelling from Brazil will have the opportunity to fly to Emirates’ Dubai hub and connect on to the Middle East’s global network of 150 destinations. Additionally, passengers flying to Dubai have the option of booking a Dubai stopover package, along with being able to take advantage of a 90-day, free of charge visa on arrival.

Commenting on the codeshare partnership, Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ divisional SVP, Strategic Planning, Revenue Optimization and Aeropolitical Affairs, said: “We’re pleased to establish a partnership with LATAM Airlines Brazil providing our passengers with increased choice, flexibility and ease of connection to different cities within Brazil.

“We continuously invest in providing more benefits to our customers. With our award-winning product and strong partners in Brazil, we look forward to continuing supporting the country’s growing inbound tourist numbers and business trade opportunities.”

Emirates’ current Brazil offerings consist of daily services to Dubai from Sao Paulo, served by an A380, along with flights to Rio de Janeiro, which will soon be operated by Boeing 777-200LR from 1 June 2019. Once deployed, travellers can fly with the Boeing 777-200LR to Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile from Rio de Janeiro.
